Teaching Artist, The Harmony Project
Natalia, MM '16. formerly an Adjunct Professor at Bay Path University, is now a Teaching Artist at The Harmony Project. She was a semifinalist in the New England Chamber Music Competiton 17’, a semifinalist in Fischoff National Chamber Competition 16’, and is a member of the Blue Heron Duo.
Shannon Vandzura
Freelance Musician
Shannon Vandzura, 26, flutist, enjoys a vibrant freelance career in the Northeast region. She frequently performs with the New York Philharmonic, Symphoria, New Haven Symphony, Richmond Symphony, Albany Symphony, Symphony in C, as well as other regional orchestras. She holds the position of Second Flute in the Montclair Orchestra and Nutmeg Symphony. She was a flute fellow at Spoleto Festival USA in 2019 & 2020 and has spent the summer of 2017 & 2018 as a flute fellow at Tanglewood Music Center working with musicians in the Boston Symphony. She recently graduated from the Manhattan School of Music in the prestigious Orchestral Performance program in 2020. She graduated with her Masters from the Manhattan School of Music in 2018 under the tutelage of Robert Langevin and received her Bachelors from the Hartt School in 2016 under Janet Arms.

Allison, BM '16 MM '18, is Principal Flutist of the Hartford Independent Chamber Orchestra
and is on the faculty of The Hartt School Community Division, Bay Path University, Hotchkiss School, Ethel Walker School, and Loomis Chaffee School. Hughes is also the Principal Flutist with the Ridgefield Symphony. She has won first prizes in the CMFONE International Chamber Music Competition '20, Vivo International Music Competition '16, and Hartt Chamber Music Competition '16.

Half Moon Duo
Michelle Stockman is a flutist and piccolo player from New England who enjoys performing with orchestras and groups such as American Ballet Theatre, New York City Opera, Philharmonia Orchestra of New York (PONY), and The Chelsea Symphony. She is also a founding member of the duo and chamber music initiative Half Moon Project, and was the principal flutist of LoftOpera. As a Friends of Flutes Foundation Grantee in 2018, Michelle gave the world premiere performance of Michael Colina’s flute concerto, Isles of Shoals, with The Chelsea Symphony. She was awarded Second Prize in the New York Flute Club Competition in 2014, giving her NYC solo debut in recital shortly after. While at the Hartt School, Michelle held a coveted spot in the school’s full tuition, honors chamber music program, Performance 20/20, and in 2009, earned Third Prize in the 9th Annual van Rooy Competition as a soloist. Passionate about flute pedagogy and music education, Michelle is a dedicated private instructor and previously served on faculty at The Fort Lee School of Music in New Jersey. She holds both a Master of Music and Bachelor of Music degree in Flute Performance from Mannes College of Music at The New School and The Hartt School of Music at The University of Hartford, respectively.
